This summer, Katja Kaufmann is offering a Bachelor Seminar open to both economics and P&E students: “Topics in Family Economics: Programme Evaluation in Education and Health.” The course will focus on how to empirically evaluate the causal effects of various policies and programs, with applications in labor economics, education, health, and crime. The seminar will explore questions such as the impact of changes in the minimum drinking age on health, how class size affects student performance, and what effect the minimum wage has on labor market outcomes.
