We are proud to introduce the newest member of the P&E family:

Prof. Karolina Milewicz, who holds the professorship of Global Political Economy since April 2022 at the University of Bayreuth. Prof. Milewicz was previously Professor of International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford.

Her research focuses on the role of international institutions and law in promoting international cooperation, from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Currently, she is working on the effectiveness of dispute settlement under preferential trade agreement. In the winter term 2022/23 she will be teaching Research Design and Methods, lectures in International Relations, and a Thesis Seminar in Political Economy.
