We congratulate Professor Christina Borgoni on obtaining a research grant from the Volkswagen Stiftung.

In her research project "Beyond the typical: authority among diverse and playful minds", she will develop a non-intellectualized conception of first-person authority.
It includes those that do not fall under the typical category of an adult: children, infants and people with a mental disorder and neurodiverse people.
First-person authority is a phenomenon that determines how we deal with people's expressions of their minds.

During the one year of Professor Borgoni´s research sabbatical, Dr. Andrea Giananti will be her deputy. He will also be in charge of the epistemology lecture in the fall semester. Welcome to the team, Dr. Giananti!
